Returns, Refunds & Warranty

At Summit & Soul, we stand behind the quality of the products we supply — because they’re products we use and trust ourselves. This policy outlines your rights and our processes for returns, refunds, and warranties, in line with South African consumer protection law.


1. Returns & Refunds

1.1 Our Commitment

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to resolve it fairly and efficiently.


1.2 When You Can Request a Return

You may request a return or refund if:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or faulty
  • The product does not match the description or is incorrect
  • You received the wrong item or incomplete order
  • You cancel your order within 7 days of delivery (cooling-off period), provided the item is unused and in original condition

1.3 How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

If approved:

  • You will receive return instructions
  • Items must be securely packaged (preferably in original packaging)

Note:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • If the return is due to a defect or our error, we will cover reasonable shipping costs

1.4 Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days after inspection of returned goods
  • Refunds are issued via your original payment method
  • Approved defect-related returns will include shipping reimbursement

1.5 Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns if:

  • The product has been used (unless faulty)
  • The item is not in its original condition or packaging
  • The item was sold as clearance, final sale, or customised
  • More than 7 days have passed (excluding defects)

1.6 Repairs & Replacements

Where applicable, we may offer:

  • A repair, or
  • A replacement

If neither is suitable, a refund will be issued.


2. Cube Air Tent Warranty

We proudly supply the Cube Inflatable Tent, built for serious outdoor use.

2.1 Standard Warranty

  • 3-Year Warranty covering:
    • Air beam system (TPU structure, valves, welds)
    • Zips and stitching
  • 12-Month Fabric Warranty covering:
    • Manufacturing defects in material
    • Abnormal degradation or delamination

2.2 Pro Edition Warranty

  • 5-Year Warranty covering:
    • Air beams
    • Zips & stitching
    • Fabric defects (excluding wear & tear)

2.3 What’s Not Covered

  • UV damage or weather exposure
  • Wind, storm, or improper anchoring damage
  • Cuts, punctures, or misuse
  • Improper storage (mould, mildew)
  • Use of non-approved pumps or over-inflation
  • Commercial use (unless approved)

2.4 Warranty Claims

To submit a claim:

We’ll respond within 3–5 working days.


2.5 Support Beyond Warranty

We offer:

  • Repairs
  • Replacement parts
  • Ongoing support to keep your gear adventure-ready

3. ProCap Canopy Warranty

We are an authorised distributor of ProCap Aluminium Canopies, backed by their ProCare Plus Warranty.


3.1 Warranty Coverage

  • 2-Year Warranty covering:
    • Structural defects
    • Aluminium corrosion or rust
    • Faulty welds or panels
    • Water ingress due to manufacturing faults
    • Locks, hinges, and fittings (if defective)

3.2 Corrosion Guarantee

All aluminium structural components are guaranteed against rust and corrosion for 24 months.


3.3 What’s Not Covered

  • Accidents, impacts, or misuse
  • Improper installation
  • Overloading roof racks
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Environmental or chemical damage
  • Theft, vandalism, or natural disasters

3.4 Installation Requirement

To maintain warranty:

  • Installation must be done by ProCap or an authorised installer

3.5 Load Limits

  • Dynamic: 150 kg
  • Static: 300 kg

Exceeding these limits voids the warranty.


3.6 Warranty Claims

  • Contact us directly and we’ll guide the process
  • Proof of purchase required
  • Inspection may be necessary

4. Your Consumer Rights (CPA)

Under the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa), you are entitled to:

  • Goods that are safe, good quality, and as described
  • A repair, replacement, or refund for defective goods
  • A 7-day cooling-off period for unused goods
  • Timely resolution of valid claims

This policy supports and does not override your legal rights.
