Rental Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all rentals provided by Summit & Soul.

🧾 1. Purpose of Rental

  • Summit & Soul rentals are offered primarily as a “try before you buy” service.
  • Rentals are intended for customers who are seriously considering purchasing the product.
  • Summit & Soul reserves the right to decline rental requests that do not align with this purpose.

🧾 2. Booking & Payment

  • All rentals are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.
  • Full payment is required to secure a booking.
  • A refundable security deposit may be required.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.

📅 3. Rental Period

  • The rental period begins on the agreed collection date and time.
  • The rental period ends on the agreed return date and time.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

⏱️ 4. Late Returns

  • Late returns will be charged at a daily rate.
  • Failure to return equipment may result in charges up to the full replacement value.

🔧 5. Use of Equipment

  • Equipment must be used responsibly and for its intended purpose.
  • The renter is responsible for correct setup and use.
  • Misuse or negligence may result in additional charges.

🛠️ 6. Condition, Damage & Loss

  • Equipment is supplied in good working condition.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.
  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged where applicable.
  • The security deposit may be used to cover damages.

🧼 7. Cleaning & Returns

  • Equipment must be returned in a clean and reasonable condition.
  • Cleaning fees may apply if items are returned excessively dirty.
  • All components must be returned.

🚫 8. Cancellations

  • Cancellations may be eligible for rescheduling depending on notice.
  • Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of rental fees.

💡 9. Try Before You Buy Credit

  • If the renter purchases the same product after the rental:

👉 The rental fee will be deducted from the purchase price.

  • This applies only to:
    • The same product rented
    • Purchases made within a reasonable timeframe
  • This offer is non-transferable and may not be combined with other promotions unless stated.

⚠️ 10. Liability

  • Summit & Soul is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from use of the equipment.
  • The renter assumes full responsibility for safe use.

📍 11. Collection & Returns

  • Collection and return arrangements will be agreed upon at booking.

  • Late collection does not extend the rental period.

🔄 12. Availability

  • Rentals are limited and subject to availability.
  • Summit & Soul reserves the right to substitute or cancel in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

🤝 13. Acceptance

By renting from Summit & Soul, you confirm that you understand and agree that rentals are provided as a trial service to support a potential purchase decision.
